More info:
Mycenae: According to mythology, Mycenae was once a mighty kingdom of Ancient Greece, and its ruler, Agamemnon, was considered one of the greatest of them all. When Helen, the beautiful wife of his brother Menelaos, was abducted by the Trojan prince Paris, the history of Greece was to come into one of its most famous phases: The Trojan War.
Nafplio: Nafplio is the one of the most beautiful town in the Peloponnese. On the local acropolis there was built a defense fortress, calledThe Acronauplia - and in the 14th and 15th century, when the town belonged to Venice, a fortified castle on the Bourtzi island, near the seashore, was constructed.
Corinth: The Corinth Canal is a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnesian peninsula from the Greek mainland, thus effectively making the former an island. Also it is possible to do bungee jumping from the bridge (80 meters high)!
