Hiking on mount Hymettos

Αre you tired of breathing in the polluted air of the city center?
Would you like to see some "green" in your life..like trees or maybe a forest?
Would you like to see Athens from above?
Do you think that parties are good but nature is better?

If the answer is YES, grab your athletic shoes, some water, snacks and fruits for the pic-nic and join us to our hiking excursion to Mount Hymettos !! (Height:1026 m).

What's the plan?
Hike through the forest on an easy path, take pictures, have a look at the monastery of Kaisariani (2nd century a.d), have a pic-nic and of course some fun! No worries, the path is a piece of cake even for those who haven't done it before.

Ready?
Lets meet up at 13:00 in front of "Akadimias (=ΑΚΑΔΗΜΙΑΣ)" bus station (it's between the central building of the University of Athens and the Law School) and catch bus 224 till the end of its route, i.e. the foothills of Hymettos in Kaisariani

Maximum height that we'll reach: 700m
Duration of the trip: 5-6 hours including rest
Cost: 0€ (unless you have to buy bus tickets :P)

PS: wear comfortable clothes, sports shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, bring water and some food for the pic-nic and don't forget your good mood!
